What are the signs & symptoms of Hayfever?
Hay fever, also known as allergic rhinitis, is a common allergic condition that affects the nasal passages and eyes.
Signs and symptoms of hay fever may include:
Sneezing
Runny or blocked nose
Itchy or watery eyes
Itchy throat, mouth, nose, and ears
Coughing
Fatigue
Headache

What is a typical treatment?
At your appointment, you will have a consultation to confirm you are suitable for treatment. The Hayfever injection is a corticosteroid injection given into the buttock. It is quick and relatively painless. The treatment starts to work approximately 2 days after treatment and results can last up to 3 months. Only one injection is required per allergy season.
Contraindications for treatment.
You should not have this treatment if any of the below points apply to you:
Pregnant
Breastfeeding
Liver or Kidney Disease
Under close supervision at the hospital
Active Cancer/ have had chemotherapy or radiotherapy in the last 12 months
