Ear Wax Removal Course

This is a 1 day face to face consisting of theory and practical elements

We run earwax removal courses across the UK so this will vary. At present we run courses every month in Birmingham and London. We occasionally run a course in Manchester a few times a year also.

You will learn the 3 main types of earwax removal. They are microsuction, ear irrigation and manual extraction.

The course is more focused on microsuction as it requires more time to become proficient. You will have plenty of time to practice.

With the NHS no longer routinely offering earwax removal as a service, many patients must pay for private earwax removal treatment. According to the NHS, each year, about 2.3 million people in the UK need earwax treatment (see BBC news article below).

Yes you will be sent a certificate on completion of the course

Once you have booked and paid for your course, you will be given access to learning materials to familiarise yourself with before attending the training day. This will help you on the day of your course as there is a lot of information to take in.

Our course will be a maximum of 8 students ensuring a small class size.

Yes! However it is your responsibility to ensure you have the necessary insurance in place before you treat patients etc. medical indemnity

Yes! Our course is accredited by the CPD Group and you will receive 8 CPD credits for attendance. You will also receive a certificate of completion.

Smart casual. If you have scrubs you may prefer to wear them as you will be practising various skills throughout the day.

Yes there is the option to split the course payments in 3 instalments. To avail of this option please select the course you would like to attend, enter your details and click ‘pay by card’. You will then be able to choose Clearpay or Klarna to spread your payments with 0% interest over several months.

No, anyone can be trained in earwax removal in the UK, however, having a medical background will help.

Yes of course! We get this question regularly and that is why we have a full equipment package option that students can purchase. The kit contains everything you need to be able to perform a safe and effective earwax removal treatment. It also contains enough consumables to make a full return on your investment!
